Chihuahua State launches alevin purchase program to boost rural aquaculture
The government of the Mexican state of Chihuahua, through its Secretaría de Desarrollo Rural (SDR), has opened a call for applications to provide financial support for the acquisition of alevins, young fish used in genetic improvement of aquaculture.
The scheme is open to legal entities and municipalities involved in rural activities, offering up to 100 % reimbursement of the investment, with a maximum of 12,000 pesos per applicant. Applicants must submit requests at the SDR office on Avenida División del Norte 2504, Colonia Altavista, Chihuahua, during business hours (09:00‑15:00 on weekdays) until the budget is exhausted.
