Chihuahua State Launches Impulso Chihuahua 2026 SME Financing Scheme
The government of the Mexican state of Chihuahua announced the Impulso Chihuahua 2026 program, offering preferential credit lines to micro, small and medium‑size enterprises. Eligible firms—minimum two years in operation and a good credit record—can apply directly with participating banks for loans up to 5 million Mexican pesos at a fixed annual rate of no more than 14.75 %. Repayment terms extend to 60 months with up to six months of grace, and loans of 2.5 million pesos or less require no mortgage guarantee.
The scheme is coordinated with the State Trust for the Promotion of Productive Activities (Fideapech), Nacional Financiera and commercial banks. Participating lenders include Banorte, BBVA, Banamex, Mifel, BanBajío, Banregio, AFIRME and HSBC. Applicants must submit documentation to their chosen bank, which validates the material, receives a certification from Fideapech and then authorizes and disburses the funds.
