Chihuahua to Host International Philosophy Congress on Family in July 2027

The city of Chihuahua will serve as the venue for the International Philosophy Congress on "The Family Facing Ideological Totalitarianism," scheduled for July 2027. The event is being organized by the National Federation of Philosophers in coordination with the state network Cruzada por la Familia. The announcement was made during the closing of the 8th National Philosophy Congress held in Mexico City, where the theme was "Human Person and Freedom: Order in Liberties.",

National and international scholars, philosophers, jurists, and specialists will present interdisciplinary perspectives on the anthropological, cultural, and legal challenges confronting families in the 21st century. Dr. Nicolas Anett Fraire, president of the National Federation of Philosophers, emphasized the conference’s role as a space for critical dialogue grounded in philosophical realism. Fco. Javier Valenzuela Casas, spokesperson for Cruzada por la Familia, highlighted Chihuahua’s commitment to defending life, family, and liberty against post‑modern ideologies, stating, "In Chihuahua all state delegations are welcome at this significant congress where speakers will address the challenges facing the family today."
