Chihuahua Youth Parliament announces 2026 participants
The United Commissions of Youth and Childhood, and of Education, Physical Culture, and Sport, have announced the selected participants for the 2026 edition of the Chihuahua Youth Parliament.
Deputy Magdalena Rentería Pérez stated that the initiative aims to foster participatory democracy and provide younger generations with knowledge regarding the functions of the Legislative Power. Participants will have the opportunity to express the concerns and needs of their respective districts.
Scheduled for October 15 and 16, the program includes training sessions provided by the State Human Rights Commission and instruction on the legislative process. For the first time, participants will work within various reporting commissions, including Education, Governance, Environment, and Health. The event will conclude with a simulated session where youth can present their registered proposals.
