Chihuahua's ASE reports 2,766 administrative complaints and 1.3 billion pesos recovered

The Auditoría Superior del Estado (ASE) has reported significant results in administrative justice in Chihuahua, ranking first nationally in the suspension of public servants investigated for serious administrative faults and second in sentences involving responsibility.

Since 2019, the ASE has filed 2,766 administrative complaints for both serious and non-serious offenses. Auditor Superior Héctor Acosta Félix stated that the agency has recovered a total of 1,300,443,173 pesos. This total includes 557.5 million pesos in direct recoveries resulting from auditing exercises and 742.9 million pesos in indirect recoveries, such as detecting debts owed to other state agencies for tax or social security obligations.

During the presentation of the 2026 Annual Progress Report to the Congressional Fiscalization Commission, Acosta Félix noted that total recoveries increased by 20 percent compared to the previous year.
