Chișinău students celebrate International Day of Peace

Students at the Spiridon Vangheli Primary School in Chișinău marked the International Day of Peace through performances involving songs, dances, and messages centered on friendship, tolerance, and solidarity.

School director Galina Horin emphasized the essential role of educational institutions in cultivating peace by teaching children empathy and respect. Teacher Victoria Toma noted that the school encourages students to begin each day with good thoughts and deeds to foster a peaceful environment. The annual observance, established in 1981, is dedicated to promoting global non-violence.
