Chișinău suspends traffic on Iuri Gagarin Boulevard for repair works

The Chișinău City Hall announced a complete suspension of vehicle traffic on Iuri Gagarin Boulevard between Constantin Negruzzi and Decebal boulevards. The closure, effective from 21:00 on 18 July 2026 until 10:00 on 19 July 2026, is required to carry out repair work on the road. During this period, trolleybus routes 1, 2, 4, 5, 8, 17 and 28 will be halted from 20:00, while route 38 will be rerouted via Constantin Negruzzi, Ciuflea, Dacia and back. Bus routes 18, 19, 33, 44 and 49 will also follow modified itineraries, with specified streets for the outward and return journeys. Drivers are instructed to follow traffic officers, be patient and obey road regulations.
