Chilam Cheung reunites with former partner Hui Chau-yi at Foshan concert

Hong Kong actor and singer Chilam Cheung hosted a concert in Foshan where he reunited with former musical partner and ex-girlfriend Hui Chau-yi. This marks their first time performing together on stage in over 15 years.

The duo, who rose to fame in the early 1990s through hits like ‘Modern Love Story’, performed the classic ‘Maple Leaves’ for the audience. Despite their past romantic relationship, the performance was characterized by professional respect and a polite distance. Both performers' spouses, Anita Yuen and Wong Shu-ki, were present in the audience to support them.

During the event, Cheung also shared an emotional moment, weeping while dedicating a song to a longtime close friend and lawyer, Lawrence, who recently passed away. Cheung noted the loss of a friend he had shared many years of companionship with.
