Child oral health impacts daily well-being and social development
Oral health plays a critical role in a child's daily life, influencing their ability to eat, breathe, speak, and interact socially. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), oral health is linked to overall well-being, self-confidence, and social connections.
Maintaining dental hygiene is essential for both primary and permanent teeth. While primary teeth eventually fall out, they are vital for proper nutrition, speech development, and maintaining space for permanent teeth. Because children's enamel is still maturing, consistent daily protection is necessary. Parents are encouraged to assist with brushing techniques, especially as children often rush the process or miss certain areas during busy school mornings.
