Germany and Poland report fatal traffic accidents

Multiple fatal traffic accidents have been reported in Germany and Poland.

In Bavaria, Germany, a 36-year-old woman and her nine-year-old child died following a head-on collision on the Staatsstraße 2409 between Ammerndorf and Cadolzburg. The driver of a Peugeot reportedly lost control on a wet road in a curve, crossed into oncoming traffic, and struck a Ford. The driver of the Ford sustained serious injuries. Authorities are using experts to determine if weather conditions or other factors caused the vehicle to veer off course.

In Krakow, Poland, a tragic accident occurred when a driver lost control of a Volkswagen Golf, likely due to speeding. The vehicle left the roadway and struck two adults who were pushing a stroller. Both parents died in the hospital, while their eight-month-old infant remains in critical condition.
