Childcare workers honored during Childcare Week in Belgium

Local authorities and organizations in Belgium are celebrating Childcare Week by recognizing the dedication of childcare providers, reception parents, and staff members.

In Pepingen, the local government expressed appreciation for those working in childcare, noting that these services are essential for child development and allow parents to balance work and family life. The administration highlighted the commitment of staff, partners, and volunteers who have built a supportive environment for local families despite recent sector challenges.

In Pelt, the Huis van het Kind organized an inspiration evening at De Stroming to thank childcare professionals. The event included workshops focused on practical skills, such as managing hypersensitivity and overstimulation in young children, creative activities using TikTak and kamishibai, and advice on conflict resolution and cooperative play.
