Childhood and Youth agent finds fatherhood through professional mission

Aparecido Donizete da Silva, a Childhood and Youth agent currently stationed in the Várzea Grande district, underwent a life-changing experience in 1990 that led to his journey as a father.

During a mission in Barra do Bugres, Silva was appointed the legal guardian of a four-day-old infant abandoned by her mother. After caring for the child for three months, Silva decided to formally join the adoption queue. The process required legal investigations to identify the biological mother and finalize the transfer of parental rights.

Silva's daughter, Érica Taiane Buzato da Silva, expressed deep gratitude for the bond they share, stating, “For me, there already existed a true paternity, the bond, the care, and the love came before the ‘arrival’.”
