Childhood cancer support initiatives focus on research and community programs

In the United States, the Long Island-based organization KiDS NEED MoRE recently held its 37th annual Camp Adventure at Timber Lake West. The week-long program provides children facing cancer and their siblings a space to engage in activities like ropes courses and zip lining, allowing them to experience childhood away from the constant focus on medical treatments. The camp includes a memorial ceremony known as ‘MoRE Memories’ to honor those lost to the disease.
