Children celebrate cancer treatment completion in Fortaleza

Twenty children and adolescents celebrated the conclusion of their oncological treatment during the ‘Ciclo da Superação’ ceremony at the Hospital Infantil Luís França in Fortaleza, Brazil.

The event marked the end of intensive medical phases, including surgeries, chemotherapy, and radiotherapy. Patients were presented with the ‘Certificado de Superação em Oncologia Pediátrica’ to recognize their resilience and the support of their families.

Luccas Augusto Adib, CEO of Hapvida, signed the certificates, noting the courage required by the patients. Milena Lima, Hapvida’s national manager of Patient Experience, emphasized the significance of celebrating life and recovery after the challenges of childhood cancer.
