Children perform theatre and music shows in Tekirdağ and Bursa

In Tekirdağ, children living at the Zübeyde Hanım Children’s Home presented a theatre and music program at the Yahya Kemal Beyatlı Cultural Center. Officials, including Aile ve Sosyal Hizmetler İl Müdürü Hüseyin Özdemir, praised the children’s effort and said, "Çocuklarımızı güvenli ve sağlıklı ortamlarda büyüterek, eğitim, sosyal, kültürel ve sportif faaliyetlerle destekleyip geleceğe hazırlamaya gayret ediyoruz. Amacımız özgüveni yüksek, sorumluluk sahibi, topluma ve devletine faydalı bireyler yetiştirmektir." The event was attended by local dignitaries and families.

In Bursa’s Yıldırım district, the municipal government staged a free performance of the play “Bir Yüzgeç Hikayesi” at the Adile Naşit Children’s Theatre. The play used humor and effects to teach children about the harm of plastic waste to marine life. Mayor Oktay Yılmaz emphasized the role of the arts, stating, "Tiyatro çocuklarımızın hayal gücünü zenginleştiriyor ve algılarını güçlendiriyor. Yıldırım’da her çocuğumuzun kültür ve sanatla büyümesini önemsiyoruz."

Both events highlight local authorities’ efforts to promote cultural participation and education among children.
