Children's nature workshops held in Italian reserves of Bosco delle Pianelle and Paspardo

On 8 August 2026 the WWF Trulli and Gravine network, together with Legambiente Valle d’Itria and other local partners, organized a low‑difficulty 1.5 km walk in the Bosco delle Pianelle nature reserve in Puglia. The event, aimed at children aged 4‑10 (and families), included guided observation of animal tracks such as raptor feathers and hedgehog spines, hands‑on labs where participants created illustrated collections of footprints, and an interactive lesson on food‑chain dynamics. Participation required advance booking via email or WhatsApp, with a fee of €10 for children and €5 for adults, reduced for WWF members.

In the Lombardy region, the Centro Faunistico of Parco dell’Adamello in Paspardo hosted a series of weekend workshops for children aged six and up, run by the Associazione LontanoVerde and art teacher Stefania Forchini. Sessions on 9, 14, 16 and 22 August offered activities such as watercolor drawing of local flora, myth‑busting discussions about wolves, eco‑printing of leaves, and clay casting of hedgehog imprints. Each two‑hour workshop cost €8, materials included, and parents were invited to stay for the duration. Registration was mandatory via phone or email.
