Chile and Colombia launch thousands of public sector job openings

Chile's national police force, Carabineros, announced a recruitment drive for 56 civilian positions across 12 regions, including roles such as forensic analyst, technical staff and administrative support. Salaries range from about 628,000 to 1.82 million Chilean pesos. Applications are accepted online until 26 July.

In Bogotá, Colombia's District Employment Agency and the Secretariat of Economic Development opened 1,261 vacancies covering commerce, logistics, health, transport, services and technology. The virtual application period runs until 18 July. The program targets inclusive hiring, reserving slots for women, youth (18‑28), people over 50, applicants with disabilities and those without prior experience.
