Chile and Colombia mourn young victims of separate traffic accidents
Edmara Molina Rogel, a 24‑year‑old nursing technician, was killed after a car struck her outside the "Euforia" discotheque in La Unión, Chile. She had warned friends minutes before the crash, and the alleged driver, Matías Villegas Carrasco, remains in preventive detention.
Cristian Daniel Oliva Rosales, a 17‑year‑old student from San Isidro, Ricaurte, Nariño, Colombia, died from injuries sustained in a rural traffic accident. He was taken to a health centre in Ipiales but could not be saved. Both communities expressed deep sorrow and solidarity with the families.
