Chile-Bolivia binational operation results in 20 arrests

A binational operation between Chile and Bolivia in Chile’s northern macrozone has resulted in the arrest of 20 individuals and the recovery of 23 stolen vehicles. The five-day deployment, conducted by Carabineros, included the apprehension of 15 adults and five minors.

Of those detained, 11 were arrested for vehicle receiving, five for drug law violations, and four held on existing arrest warrants. Authorities also seized 769 grams of marijuana. The recovered vehicles consist of nine station wagons, six trucks, five cars, and two motorcycles.
