Chile celebrates National Wine Day 2026 with nationwide events

Chile will celebrate National Wine Day on September 4, 2026. Officially established in 2015 via presidential decree, the date honors the country's wine history, cultural identity, and its importance to gastronomy and tourism.

Various wine valleys across the country are hosting diverse activities to mark the occasion. In the Choapa Valley, Viña Choapa offers vineyard and cellar tours. The Aconcagua Valley features experiences such as Viña In Situ tours and nocturnal wine events at Viña El Escorial. The Casablanca Valley includes wine festivals with live music, gastronomy, and grape stomping at Viña Mar, as well as biodynamic tours at Matetic and various activities at Bodegas RE and Villard Fine Wines.

In Santiago, the Barrio La Bolsa will host events featuring more than 20 wineries. Enoturismo Chile, supported by Corfo, has curated over 50 experiences ranging from free activities to premium gastronomic offerings, allowing participants to explore different terroirs and winemaking traditions.
