Chile Education Ministry publishes FUAS benefit allocation results, opens appeal period

The Subsecretariat of Higher Education announced that on 30 July the latest results of the 2026 FUAS (Formulario Único de Acreditación Socioeconómica) allocation were made available. The results pertain to the second appeal round for students who previously did not receive scholarships, grants or credit.

Students can review their outcomes online using their RUT and may file an appeal between 30 July and 14 August 2026 (until 23:59). The appeal process allows challenges on any of 13 specified grounds, including family composition, household income, unemployment of a family member, health expenses, missing secondary‑school records, and residency status for foreign applicants.

The FUAS platform continues to serve as the online mechanism for applying to free tuition, scholarships and credit offered by Chile’s Ministry of Education for higher‑education studies.
