Chile expels Peruvian woman wanted by judicial authorities in Ancash

Chilean authorities have expelled Brigitte Azucena Risco Tejada and handed her over to the Peruvian National Police. Risco Tejada was subject to a judicial requisition from the Seventh Criminal Court of the Superior Court of Justice of Santa in Chimbote, Peru.

The warrant, issued on July 25, 2025, pertains to alleged serious injuries. The deportation was executed through coordinated efforts between Chile’s Division of Investigation of Crimes against Transnational Crime and the Investigative Police of Chile (PDI).
