Chile hosts major AI and technology conferences in Santiago

Chile is positioning itself as a hub for artificial intelligence discussions through major regional technology conferences. The 11th America Digital Latin American Congress on AI, Technology, and Business is scheduled for September 9 and 10 in Santiago. The event aims to gather over 5,000 executives and specialists from more than 50 countries to analyze how AI is redefining competitiveness, digital infrastructure, and data. Key speakers include Mois Navon, an AI ethics advisor at Anthropic, and Patrick Mork, an executive advisor and former Google Play CMO.

Additionally, the third edition of the Latin America Technology Conference (LTC), organized by DIGEVO and sponsored by Oracle, recently took place in Santiago. The event saw significant growth, attracting over 1,200 leaders to discuss agentic AI, governance, and technological sovereignty. The conference featured insights from Chile's Minister of Science, Technology, Knowledge, and Innovation, Ximena Lincolao, regarding the nation's AI Nation initiative, and DIGEVO President Roberto Musso, who addressed the transition toward agentic AI in organizational decision-making.
