Chile hosts SME Week 2026 to boost business connectivity

Chile is observing SME Week 2026, a national initiative by the Ministry of Economy, Development and Tourism aimed at strengthening small and medium-sized enterprises through various regional and national activities.

In Santiago, Corfo will host the “Conectar para Crecer” business matchmaking event on October 14. The event will bring together 29 large corporations and over 130 SMEs to facilitate commercial opportunities. The program includes 638 scheduled meetings designed to connect SMEs offering specialized technological solutions and services with the operational needs of major industrial players.

In the Magallanes region, celebrations began on October 13 with a focus on regional development and entrepreneurship. Activities include training, commercialization spaces, and the presentation of the “Potencia” incubator. Supported by Corfo with $240 million in co-financing, this three-year project aims to incubate entrepreneurs to foster long-term business growth.
