Chilean authorities are implementing several regional housing and land management initiatives. In the Aysén region, the Ministry of National Assets has established an inter-institutional table to resolve access issues to fiscal lands. This effort aims to unlock territories with high tourism and productive potential, such as Lago Leones and Parque Nacional Cerro Castillo, which are currently blocked by private properties.

In the Biobío region, Minister of Housing and Urbanism Iván Poduje announced the termination of the 'Arriendo a Precio Justo' program. Instead of rental agreements, 214 fiscal properties in Concepción, San Pedro de la Paz, Coronel, and Los Ángeles will be transferred as ownership to vulnerable populations, including victims of domestic violence, people with disabilities, and senior citizens.

Additionally, in the Maule region, improvement works are progressing in 15 social housing complexes across Talca, Constitución, and Parral. These projects, which benefit 1,473 families, focus on addressing qualitative housing deficits by installing thermal solutions and repairing leaks and humidity issues.
