Chile launches Pro-Integrity Seal for electrical sector

The Fundación Generación Empresarial (FGE), Chile Transparente, and the Coordinador Eléctrico Nacional have launched the ‘Sello Pro-Integridad’ (Pro-Integrity Seal) to raise ethical and transparency standards within Chile’s electrical sector.

The initiative targets various industry players, including power generators, transmitters, distributors, small distributed generation media (PMGD), and free clients. The program follows a structured process involving registration, an initial diagnostic assessment, continuous accompaniment, and periodic evaluations to identify and close integrity gaps.

Participants will have access to specialized training, digital tools, mentorship, and a sectoral network to share best practices. Once organizations meet the established criteria, they may use the seal to publicly demonstrate their commitment to continuous improvement and ethical conduct. During the launch, Energy Minister Ximena Rincón emphasized that moving toward a more transparent energy system is essential to meeting public expectations.
