Chile national football team announces upcoming friendly match schedule

The Chilean national football team has announced its upcoming schedule, featuring a tour of North America and friendlies in November. The team will face the 2026 World Cup hosts in a series of matches: Canada in Toronto on September 26, the United States in San Luis on September 29, and Mexico in Los Angeles on October 6.

Additionally, two friendly matches against Colombia have been scheduled for November. The first will take place at the Pascual Guerrero Olympic Stadium in Cali on November 13, followed by a second match at the National Stadium on November 17.

Amid these announcements, midfielder Erick Pulgar, currently playing for Flamengo, clarified his absence from the squad called by interim coach Nicolás Córdova. Pulgar stated that he has no conflict with Córdova and explained his decision to step aside to allow space for a new generation of players to gain visibility and confidence within the national team.
