President José Antonio Kast's approval stalls near 40% as disapproval climbs above 50% in Chile polls

Recent Chilean opinion surveys show President José Antonio Kast's popularity remaining low. The Criteria poll recorded 39% approval and 51% disapproval for a third consecutive week. A Cadem poll a week later reported 41% approval and 53% disapproval, while the Pulso Ciudadano poll indicated a sharp drop to 30.1% approval and 56.9% disapproval.

The same Cadem surveys ranked cabinet members, naming Interior and General Government Minister Claudio Alvarado (54%) and Housing Minister Iván Poduje (53%) as the most approved, while Treasury Minister Jorge Quiroz was deemed the most influential. Lower‑rated ministers included Labor Minister Tomás Rau (36%) and Sports Minister Natalia Duco (32%).

Respondents also voiced views on the constitutional accusation against former minister Nicolás Grau, with roughly 38% supporting the measure and 41% remaining neutral. Crime topped the list of national concerns, cited by over half of those surveyed.
