Chilean artists Javiera Mena and AKRIILA announce major musical milestones

Chilean musical artists Javiera Mena and AKRIILA are marking significant career milestones. Javiera Mena will perform a special show at Club Deseo in Argentina on October 22 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of her debut album, ‘Esquemas Juveniles’. Originally released in 2006, the album is considered a landmark work in Latin American independent electronic pop.

Meanwhile, alt-pop singer AKRIILA has released her second studio album, ‘lucy miró al mundo y notó que está girando’, via Atlantic Records. The project features collaborations with artists such as Jane Remover and Guitarricadelafuente. AKRIILA is scheduled to perform in Chile at Estación Mapocho on December 12 as part of an upcoming tour through Europe and Latin America.
