Chilean communities hold events to honor teachers

Various communities in Chile held events to commemorate Teacher's Day.

In Cauquenes, a mass was held at the San Pedro Parish to honor educators. The ceremony was attended by local authorities, including presidential delegate Simón Recabal, councilors Nelson Rodríguez and Álvaro Apablaza, and Ema Muñoz, president of the Colegio de Profesores A. G. The event included musical performances by a choir of rural students and served as a space for reflection on the vocation of teachers.

Club Deportivo Alemán also hosted a celebration at Casino Victoria to recognize the dedication of its instructors. During the ceremony, three teachers received special awards: Sebastián de Vicenzi for Formative Excellence in volleyball, Fernando Neira for Institutional Commitment in football, and Jaime Urrutua for Team Spirit and Fellowship.
