Chilean communities host events for breast cancer awareness

Various communities in Chile are organizing activities to promote breast cancer awareness and support patients. In Zapallar, the municipality has scheduled a solidarity run through El Pangue, the Zapallar Theater, and Cachagua. The proceeds from this event are intended for the oncology group ‘El Legado de Yenny’ to support those facing the disease.

In Coyhaique, the eleventh edition of the ‘Pink Party’ drew 270 participants at Parque Austral. The event featured 11 different sporting disciplines and raised over 1.5 million pesos. These funds will be transferred to the Agrupación de Ayuda al Enfermo de Cáncer to assist local patients. The initiative also included educational workshops on managing lymphedema and self-drainage, led by kinesiology professionals.
