Chilean construction chambers launch regional initiatives

The Chilean Chamber of Construction (CChC) is implementing distinct regional initiatives to modernize and diversify the industry. In the Maule region, the CChC Women's Commission, in partnership with the Universidad Católica del Maule, is launching a study to identify gender gaps within the local construction sector. The research will utilize surveys of companies and workers to examine labor participation, equality of opportunity, access to leadership roles, and work-life balance.

In the Magallanes region, the CChC is focusing on digital transformation through artificial intelligence training. Under the PRO Commitment framework, the chamber organized practical workshops for professionals to learn how to apply AI tools to improve productivity and automate tasks. The training included developing functional prototypes to assist in organizational management and digital transformation.
