Puerto de Ideas Valparaíso confirms international guests for 2026 edition

Various cultural festivals and events are scheduled across Latin America and Spain. In Valparaíso, Chile, the Puerto de Ideas festival will take place from November 6 to 8, 2026, featuring confirmed international guests such as Romanian writer Mircea Cărtărescu, Argentine author Agustina Bazterrica, and Chilean writer Alejandro Zambra.

In Santiago, Chile, the seventh edition of the Festival Poesía y Música PM will run from September 30 to October 3, 2026. This free event includes performances by the Orquesta Usach and international artists Liliana Felipe from Mexico and Ricardo Aleixo from Brazil. Additionally, the En Órbita Festival has returned to Basel, Chile, featuring acts like Blonde Redhead and Dry Cleaning.

Other notable events include the Caminos de la Ópera Lírica International Festival in Asunción, Paraguay, running from September 29 to October 22, 2026. In Spain, the San Miguel festivities in Chamartín and the Patronal Festivals in Torrejón are scheduled for late September and early October, respectively, featuring various musical performances and community activities.
