Chilean delegation to present school absenteeism solutions in Spain

A Chilean delegation will travel to Alicante, Spain, to present a collaborative model for addressing school absenteeism at the INSA International Conference 2026. The presentation will feature representatives from Red INSA Chile, an alliance formed in 2023 that includes the Ministry of Education, the University of Chile (CIAE), Fundación Educacional Oportunidad, Fundación Presente, Fundación Belén Educa, Fundación Arauco, and the Bien Público and Emprender corporations.

The initiative aims to protect the educational trajectories of children and youth by coordinating efforts between the state, academia, educational communities, and civil society. Representatives María de la Luz González and Rebeca Molina emphasized that the model relies on sharing evidence and connecting different perspectives to move from dispersed efforts toward coherent responses that consider the realities of schools and families.
