Chile prepares for Fiestas Patrias with pension updates and weather forecasts

Chile is preparing for its Fiestas Patrias celebrations in September 2026, marked by various social, economic, and meteorological developments.

Economically, the Universal Guaranteed Pension (PGU) has increased from 231,732 to 250,275 pesos for those aged 75 to 81.
