Chilean lawyer launches legal rights podcast

Lawyer Carmen Gloria Arroyo of GrupoDefensa.cl has launched a new podcast titled ‘Derecho a Equivocarse’ to address legal challenges faced by Chilean families. The program aims to simplify complex legal issues, such as securing child support payments, through real-life cases.

Arroyo noted that in Chile, over one million people are registered as debtors of child support. The podcast seeks to combat the lack of information regarding legal rights, such as the ability to request provisional support during trials or suing grandparents when a parent is unable to pay.
