Chilean producers in Los Ríos receive animal feed aid

In the Los Ríos region of Chile, producers in the communes of Paillaco and Los Lagos have received over one ton of animal concentrate as part of ongoing emergency relief efforts. This distribution is part of a larger 30-ton shipment of animal feed sent by the Ministry of Agriculture following an agricultural emergency declared due to frontal weather systems recorded since July 7.

The aid specifically targets farmers who are not users of INDAP but possess an up-to-date Silvoagropecuaria Affection File (FAS) and Animal Existence Declaration. Regional authorities, including the acting regional presidential delegate and the Seremi of Agriculture, highlighted the rapid response to support local livestock producers, including pig farmers, affected by recent weather events.
