Chilean regional and water management stakeholders hold strategic meetings

In Antofagasta, the Chilean Chamber of Construction (CChC) and the new Regional Ministerial Secretary of Housing and Urbanism, Rodolfo Ugarte Silva, have agreed to strengthen collaborative efforts. The meeting focused on addressing the regional housing deficit through the continuity of the 'Mesa de Nudos Críticos' and enhancing public-private alliances. Key priorities include increasing the construction of DS19 and DS49 projects and exploring micro-condominium programs to improve urban infrastructure and connectivity.

Separately, the Sociedad del Canal de Maipo and the Infrastructure Policy Council (CPI) held a seminar regarding water reuse to mark the 200th anniversary of the Sociedad del Canal de Maipo. The event featured discussions among various officials and experts on water management strategies and infrastructure policies.
