Chilean striker Damián Pizarro returns to Primera División with Audax Italiano

Twenty‑one‑year‑old forward Damián Pizarro, once hailed as a top Chilean prospect, has rejoined the Chilean top flight on loan. After signing with Udinese at 18, he failed to establish himself in Serie A and spent subsequent loan spells at Le Havre in France and Racing in Argentina, where he did not score.

Pizarro has not netted an official goal since a double‑brace for Colo Colo on 12 May 2024. He is now set to play for Audax Italiano until the close of the 2026 season, aiming to revive his form and contribute to the team under coach Patricio Graff.
