Chilean striker Damián Pizarro to join Audax Italiano on loan

Chile international forward Damián Pizarro, who joined Racing Club of Argentina on loan from Italian side Udinese, is set to move back to Chile on a temporary deal with Audax Italiano. After making only 191 minutes for Racing since his January arrival and failing to score, Pizarro and his representatives have progressed with the termination of his Racing contract. Udinese plans to loan him to Audax Italiano for the remainder of the year, giving the striker a chance to play regular football in the Chilean Primera División.

The negotiations were reported by Argentine journalist Uriel Lugt, confirming that the loan will run until the end of the current season and that Audax Italiano is the most advanced candidate to secure the player.
