Chilean striker Felipe Flores leaves San Luis de Quillota
Forward Felipe Flores has ended his spell with San Luis de Quillota after the club and the player agreed to terminate his contract on 10 June. The decision followed criticism of coach Humberto Suazo, with Flores saying, “Me decepcionó la actitud de Humberto (Suazo), sobre todo porque fuimos compañeros.”
San Luis announced the mutual termination, confirming the striker is now a free agent eligible to sign with another Primera B side. Clubs reportedly interested in signing Flores include Deportes Recoleta and Cobreloa.
The move concludes a little over a year at the club, during which Flores received limited playing time and cited a lack of communication with the coaching staff as a key factor in his departure.
