Chilean Treasury sets September 30 deadline for property tax installment

The General Treasury of the Republic (TGR) has announced that the deadline for paying the third installment of non-agricultural real estate contributions for the third quarter is Wednesday, September 30, 2026.

Payments can be made online via the official TGR website using a Clave Única or Clave Tributaria. For those preferring in-person transactions, options include bank branches, Sencillito locations, and CajaVecina, provided the tax receipt is presented. Digital receipts can be obtained through the TGR website, self-service modules, or ChileAtiende offices.

General Treasurer Hernán Nobizelli advised vulnerable senior citizens to check the Internal Revenue Service (SII) website to see if they qualify for territorial tax reductions. Currently, seniors with incomes at or below 13.5 UTA receive a 100% exemption on housing contributions, while those with incomes between 13.5 and 30 UTA are eligible for a 50% reduction.
