ChileAtiende opens virtual service center in Putaendo

The Social Security Institute (IPS) ChileAtiende, under the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, has inaugurated a new Virtual Service Center in Putaendo. This initiative aims to reduce territorial gaps by bringing state services and social benefits closer to residents in rural areas.

Through assisted video calls, citizens can complete more than 60 different state procedures. The center is located at the Community Development Directorate in Putaendo, allowing locals to access services without traveling up to 16 kilometers to San Felipe. This marks the 16th Virtual Service Center established by the network to increase state coverage in remote locations.
