Chilehuevos introduces quality seal for egg production

To combat consumer confusion caused by marketing terms like ‘Premium’ or ‘XL’, Chilehuevos has formalized its Quality Program Seal. This certification allows producers to demonstrate that their products meet rigorous technical standards rather than relying solely on slogans.

The seal is awarded to producers who pass strict audits and implement continuous improvement practices based on three fundamental pillars: food safety to ensure consumer and avian health, environmental care through sustainable and clean production, and animal welfare regarding housing and treatment systems.

Avícola Coliumo, through its brands Huevos Coliumo and La Castellana, is among the pioneering companies to obtain this quality seal.
