Chile's Junaeb opens applications for $65,000 technical‑professional scholarship

The Junta Nacional de Auxilio Escolar y Becas (Junaeb) has opened the second application period for its Beca Práctica Técnico Profesional, a one‑time grant of 65,000 pesos for secondary‑level technical‑professional students and recent graduates who are undertaking a practicum in 2026. Applications must be submitted online through the Junaeb portal by 16 September.

Regional director Nellie Miranda Eldan of Junaeb Antofagasta encouraged eligible third‑ and fourth‑year students, as well as graduates enrolled in schools that validate a practice plan, to apply. The programme already supported 333 students in the Antofagasta region this year.
