Chile's SAMU and Quillota Health Dept Boost Community Health Services

The Service of Emergency Medical Attention (SAMU) in Chile's Chiloé region took part in the first Preventive Community Fair in Quellón, where officials demonstrated how the pre‑hospital emergency network works, explained the proper use of the 131 emergency number and urged responsible requests for ambulance services.

Meanwhile, the municipal health department of Quillota launched an intensified influenza‑vaccination campaign. The plan includes home‑visit vaccinations for seniors, neighborhood immunisation drives on Saturdays, and extended‑hour clinics at the local mall, aiming to eliminate access barriers for vulnerable residents during the winter season.
