Chillventa 2026 showcases heating and cooling innovations

The Chillventa 2026 trade fair featured a variety of new technologies in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (LüKK).

Midea presented several innovations, including the H-Pack, an indoor heat pump solution developed by its European R&D team. The modular system eliminates the need for an outdoor unit, addressing concerns regarding noise, space, and building regulations. Midea also demonstrated VitaBreeze technology, which allows users to visualize and direct airflow via smartphone. Additionally, Midea received Euromonitor awards for being the world’s top residential inverter air conditioner company and the top R290 air conditioner company.

Other industry participants introduced specialized solutions, such as Advansor’s CO2-based products including the MiniBooster for retail and the ValueBox Combi heat pump. Copeland debuted modular CO2-scroll condensing units designed for supermarkets, while MTA Deutschland showcased the Aries N DF, an air-cooled low-temperature water chiller using propane (R290). Walter Roller also presented new air cooler series, including the CO2Oler for CO2 applications and the H2OCooler.
