Chilly Girl favored for Tea Rose Stakes at Randwick

Trainer Sterling Alexiou expressed confidence in Chilly Girl ahead of the Group 2 Tea Rose Stakes at Randwick this Saturday. Despite being held up during her recent run in the Furious Stakes, where she finished a half-length second to Bangkok Hottie, Alexiou believes the performance showed strength and readiness for the step up to 1400m.

Chilly Girl entered the week as the $3.30 TAB favourite, ahead of Bangkok Hottie ($4.80) and Striking Alibi ($3.90). Alexiou noted that the horse did everything right in her previous race and expects a peak performance in the upcoming event.
