Chiloé and Manzanillo launch 2026-2027 cruise seasons

The 2026-2027 cruise season is commencing in both Chiloé and Manzanillo, bringing significant economic projections to their respective regions.

In Chiloé, the upcoming season includes 15 international calls to the city of Castro. The program is expected to bring approximately 7,000 passengers and crew members, totaling 4,497 passengers and 2,417 crew. Local authorities and port representatives noted that this influx is intended to stimulate the gastronomy, commerce, and transport sectors.

In Manzanillo, the Holland America Line vessel Koningsdam arrived from San Diego, California. The ship carries 3,194 passengers and 1,158 crew members. The Colima State Government’s Undersecretariat of Tourism estimates the arrival will generate approximately 3.8 million pesos in economic benefits for local businesses and service providers.
