Chima Anyaso signs Bende Prosperity Contract for 2027 election

Dr. Chima Anyaso, the Labour Party candidate for Bende Federal Constituency, has signed the ‘Bende Prosperity Contract,’ a development blueprint intended to serve as a covenant for accountability if elected in 2027. The document, titled ‘Walk With Me,’ outlines commitments to agriculture, education, healthcare, infrastructure, security, and youth development.

Anyaso described the contract as a tool for transparency, distinguishing it from traditional political manifestos by framing it as a measurable agreement that constituents can use to hold him accountable. He pledged to serve only two terms and emphasized that projects funded by taxpayers should be viewed as public assets rather than personal gifts from politicians.

Following the signing at the Uzuakoli Civic Centre, the Abia State Labour Party Chairman, Hon. Peter Azubuike, visited Anyaso in Igbere to commend his efforts. Azubuike expressed the state leadership’s readiness to support the candidate and strengthen the party’s presence in the constituency ahead of the 2027 elections.
